Managed AgriConnect network

A managed network. Not another app.

Kpododo AgriConnect connects farmers, cooperatives, traders, processors and bulk buyers across Ghana, powered by people, data, and the simple tools farmers already use: WhatsApp, phone calls and SMS. We do the searching, matching and coordination so you don't have to.

Nobody searches. Kpododo coordinates.

A central coordination hub for agricultural trade in Ghana, built for reality, not complexity, especially for farmers who may not use smartphones regularly.

Farmers

don't need to search for buyers.

Just tell us what you have ready.

Buyers

don't need to search for farmers.

Tell us what you need, and where.

Transporters

don't need to search for loads.

We route confirmed deliveries to you.

Instead: farmers inform Kpododo when they have produce. Buyers inform Kpododo when they need produce. We connect both sides and coordinate everything in between.

Core operational model

From harvest to payment, in eight coordinated steps.

A field-driven, human-assisted system layered over simple digital tools, so every farmer is included, regardless of their phone.

  1. 01

    Hybrid farmer onboarding

Farmers are registered through community agents, field officers, phone calls, WhatsApp, or simple digital forms, whichever works for them. We capture name, location, main crops, capacity, harvest season, and contact.

    Field-driven & assisted
  2. 02

    Produce availability notification

No apps, no SMS commands. A farmer simply calls Kpododo, sends a WhatsApp message, or speaks to a community agent: “I have 100 bags of maize ready for sale.” Our staff updates the system.

    One simple action
  3. 03

    Central database & matching

Kpododo maintains a live agricultural database of supply and demand. When a request comes in, the system instantly identifies matching suppliers across the network.

    Live & instant
  4. 04

    Buyer demand collection

Buyers register with a simple form, then submit requests by phone, WhatsApp, or directly through an agent: “We need 1,000 bags of maize within 14 days in Tamale.” Kpododo checks internal supply and begins matching farmers.

    Form · Phone · WhatsApp · Agent
  5. 05

    Supply aggregation

Kpododo aggregates produce across many smallholder farmers to fulfil large orders, combining, say, 1,000 bags from dozens of farms into a single consolidated offer for the buyer.

    Many farms, one offer
  6. 06

    Communication & coordination

Instead of forcing digital interaction, Kpododo is the bridge: SMS alerts for updates, WhatsApp for discussion, phone calls for negotiation, and field agents for verification.

    Human-assisted layer
  7. 07

    Logistics & delivery

Once a deal is confirmed, Kpododo coordinates transport booking, loading supervision, delivery tracking, and live location updates, start to finish.

    Booked & tracked
  8. 08

    Payment & trust

Payments run through Mobile Money and bank transfer. Funds are released only after delivery is confirmed, keeping the deal transparent for both sides and reducing fraud risk.

    Secured on delivery
Built for inclusion

One message is all it takes.

Farmers don't learn an app or memorise SMS commands. They reach Kpododo the way they already communicate, and our staff handle the rest, updating the system on their behalf.

“I have 100 bags of maize ready for sale.”

That's the entire action a farmer needs to take.

Phone call

Call Kpododo Consult and speak to a real person in your language.

WhatsApp

Send a quick message, “100 bags of maize ready”, and we take it from there.

SMS

Receive alerts and updates on any basic or feature phone. No app required.

Community agent

Talk face-to-face with a field officer who registers and verifies on the ground.

Payment & trust

Money moves only when the produce arrives.

Settlement runs on the rails Ghana already trusts, with delivery confirmation built into every deal.

MTN MoMoTelecel CashAirtelTigo MoneyBank transfer

Delivery confirmed first

Payment is held and only released once the buyer confirms the goods arrived as agreed.

Transparent both ways

Farmer and buyer see the same agreed quantity, price, and status throughout.

Reduced fraud risk

Field verification plus secured settlement protect everyone in the chain.

“Payment for 100 bags of maize has been confirmed and secured.” Every farmer hears this before funds are released.
